The votes have been counted, and verified, and we’re delighted to announce that Verbier has once again been crowned “Switzerland’s Best Ski Resort“, in 2023. It’s not the first time Verbier has received this accolade, having had success of winning awards in 2018, 2019, 2021 and 2022.

World Ski Awards: Celebrating Excellence in Tourism
The World Ski Awards™ organization describes itself as “the only global initiative to recognise, reward and celebrate excellence in ski tourism.” Its main focus is to bring the industry closer together, thereby inspiring innovation, local growth and prosperity. Launched in 2013, World Ski Awards aims to drive up standards in the ski tourism industry by rewarding the organisations that are leaders in their field. Votes are cast by ski industry professionals (senior executives, travel buyers, tour operators and media) and by the public (ski tourism consumers) in a range of categories, including best resorts, hotels, chalets and tour operators. Votes are submitted online via the World Ski Awards website. World Ski Awards is the sister organisation of World Travel Awards currently celebrating its 30th anniversary.
