At Ski Armadillo, there are a handful of key people involved in creating your holiday. We may be a small team, but our combined knowledge of Verbier, skiing and running a successful company speaks volumes.

    Operations Director

    After finishing University I wasn’t sure what to do with my life. Luckily, a friend had been on a snowboarding holiday so we decided to head to the Mountains and do a winter season together. Not knowing exactly what I was getting myself into, it was a career changing moment as the next six months proved to be an experience like no other, with a unique blend of working, snowboarding and a lot of apres!

    This industry has allowed me to follow my passion, discover new cultures and gain friends all over the world. From starting out as a humble ‘wannabee snowboarder’ to progressing through the ranks and becoming a Chalet Host, Chalet Manager, Resort Manager, Area Manager and now Overseas Operations Manager.     UK Operations Manager

    I’ve lived and worked extensively throughout France and Switzerland, beginning my career overseas as a nanny in France before enrolling on a French, “Tourism” diploma. As a Ski Resort Manager and Groups Coordinator for First Choice Ski, I’ve experienced numerous winter and summer alpine seasons, as well as a number of summer seasons in Turkey.

  • Dan Boniface

    Sales Manager

    In November 1997, having already experienced ski holidays with school and friends, I jumped in my car and drove out to the French Alps to try and find a job. After a few weeks, I managed to get employment with First Choice Ski in Les Deux Alpes working in a hotel. The rest they say is history! After a further 4 winters in France as a Ski Tech and Rep, I moved to Brighton in 2003 to sell ski trips to school groups. In 2017, I decided that I had one more season left in me so headed out to Val d’Isere to work as a Driver for a luxury chalet company.

    This time though I took my wife and 2 young daughters with me! We went for 6 months and ended up staying for 4 years and it was a wonderful experience for the whole family. Now though, I am delighted to be back in Brighton working for Ski Armadillo and am really looking forward to helping organise the perfect chalet holiday for you in one of the world’s greatest ski resorts!     After leaving university with a marketing degree, and spending 2 years backpacking round Asia, Australasia, South Africa, South America and North America, I decided it was time to return to Brighton, settle down and get a ‘proper job’. Pursuing a career within the travel industry was an obvious choice, having gained 10+ years’ experience as a marketing manager for both large corporations and privately owned businesses.
