Short-Breaks
We are noticing more and more demand for long ski weekends, with people looking to get their ‘ski fix’ without taking too much time off work or encroaching on their family/social commitments. The traditional ski weekends involve arriving in resort on a Thursday, skiing for 3 days before departing on the Sunday and heading back to work on the Monday. However, we recommend taking an alternative approach and travelling from Sunday until Wednesday. Why? Because you will be able to secure cheaper air fares and enjoy empty slopes.
1. Cheaper Air Fares
Most airlines offer cheaper fares when flying out of the UK on a Sunday and arriving back mid-week. Although availability for flights on these days might not be as frequent, the money saved will more than make up for this. Although we are unable to provide flights, we highly recommend finding the best airfares via www.skyscanner.net.
2. Maximize your time on the slopes
Time is precise and maximising your time on the slopes is of paramount importance. We all know that Saturday and Sunday are the busiest days on the slopes, when locals and tourists alike are in pursuit of fresh powder. Why not avoid the queues, enjoy quieter slopes and make your own fresh tracks on a Monday and Tuesday?
3. No compromise on your working hours
The major appeal of a Thursday to Sunday ski weekend is that you only need to take 2 days off of work to enjoy at least 3 days on the slopes. True, but this is also possible on a Sunday to Wednesday break. An early morning flight into Geneva can see you on the slopes by Sunday afternoon. Enjoy the quiet slopes on a Monday and Tuesday, take an early flight out of Geneva on a Wednesday and be back at your desk by 9am! Admittedly a tough day, but it’ll be the weekend again before you know it

Why? Spread across 3 floors, La Siesta boasts a huge open-plan living area that lends itself well for socialising. The 5 guestrooms are on the ground and top floor, where 13 adults can be accommodated (10 without the need to ‘bed share’). Our daily driver service is also available to whisk you all in town to enjoy some of Europe’s finest après-ski scene

Why? Chalet Skye is perfectly located, less than a 3 minute walk from the Medran and Place Centrale. This spacious chalet has 5 en-suite guestrooms that can accommodate 10 guests (8 without the need to ‘bed share’). The huge open-plan living area has 2 open-fires, comfortable furniture and amazing balcony views

Why? Chalet Ker Praet is the largest chalet we have in our portfolio, with 8 guestrooms accommodating up to 16 guests (15 without the need to ‘bed share’). Spread over 4 floors, the Ker Praet has a separate dining room, lounge and in-house sauna.
