Resort Driver & Maintenance

Are you friendly, chatty and a logical thinker?

We are looking for confident, experienced drivers to join the Ski Armadillo team. You will be the face of Ski Armadillo, greeting guests on arrival and chauffeuring them to and from their chalets. Successful candidates will be up-beat, able to multi-task, extremely hard-workers and have a strong sense of direction! Ski Armadillo drivers are integral to the team, involved in all aspects of our guests’ holiday, from providing an efficient driver service, to general maintenance and the smooth running of all our chalets.

What will you be doing?

In-resort driver service

  • Providing an excellent chauffeur service to clients within resort, arriving promptly, looking professional and driving with care and attention at all times.
  • Abiding by company and Swiss driving and parking rules, traffic laws and restrictions.
  • Managing a driver rota within your team.
  • Developing relationships with guests to ensure they have the best possible stay and the Ski Armadillo reputation is upheld.
  • Establishing and maintaining a professional working relationship with clients and suppliers
  • Dealing with complaints in the appropriate manner, and notifying the Resort Manager.


  • Looking after, maintaining and cleaning company vehicles inside and out, including carrying out regular safety checks.
  • Clearing snow from paths and balconies, ensuring areas are safe at all times.
  • Carrying out any chalet maintenance and DIY tasks necessary or reporting those that can’t be immediately fixed.
  • Maintaining the hygiene and cleanliness of all hot tubs.


  • Providing an excellent chauffeur service to clients within resort, arriving promptly, looking professional and driving with care and attention at all times
  • Assisting in the distribution of equipment to chalets during set up and close down.
  • Assisting in the distribution of supplies to chalets, including laundry and drinks.
  • Holding responsibility for wine and log supplies at each chalet, laundry delivery and collection and weekly crate management.
  • Accurately reporting all necessary information, including maintenance, breakages, inventories, budgets, and any other paperwork.
  • Being responsible for any company money, receipts and account cards in your care, including sticking to a budget for costs and stock.
  • Undertaking any other administrative tasks that are relevant to your position.
  • Assisting with hosting duties in cases of illness or injury.
  • Playing a key role in the Ski Armadillo team by taking pride in your appearance, working as a team and showing loyalty to the company.

Who are we looking for?

An experienced driver over the age of 22 with a clean driving license and experience driving large vehicles in adverse weather conditions. Ski Armadillo drivers are the eyes and ears of resort, they play in active part in all aspects of the day-to-day running of the company, so must be alert and professional at all times. We are looking for someone who is well-presented, friendly and approachable, as well as being able to inform guests about Ski Armadillo products and services and resort information.

Alongside this, you will be able to turn your hand to a range of maintenance issues, including plumbing, electrical and carpentry work. You will be calm and logical with the ability and initiative to problem solve in a pressured environment. If you are proactive, professional and have a great sense of humour, we want you as part of the Ski Armadillo team! You will need at least two years driving experience or have completed an advanced driving course.
